Singapore Mainland's Last Kampong

I've brought my kids here for a morning cycle and to have a bit of glimpse, experience of Singapore's olden days Kampong. Kampong is defined today as village in Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. It is a village where dwellers live in unity, friendship and understanding of each other. This way of life is known as Kampong Spirit or Gotong Royong. Here are some of the edited retro style photos I have taken.

"Terompah" is a Malay word for those footwears
Nice and quiet little Kampong
Wooden Gate
Tin made mailboxes
Colourful Fence is fun.
